A big thanks goes out to Pete for his hard work in putting our newest project together. You will need to download Google Earth to view the map. Once you have the program on your computer all you will need to do is click on the link below and it will self populate onto Google Earth. Once it is completed, you can zoom in and out anywhere on the map. Selected items have text information when you click on them. We will change this link with a new date whenever there is an update.
I have started a Google Earth map which will show where various people lived on base at Camp Lejeune who believe they were affected by the water contamination on the base. It is a work in progress, so expect to see changes. As you will see, there are 2 maps:
1) Showing where those exposed lived while on base; and
2) Where these same people who were exposed now currently reside.
If you would like to participate in this visual aide, please email me at tftptf@aol.com. We will need the following information: Address on base, zip included if you have it and then the City and State where you currently reside.
A big thanks goes out to Mike Partain for having such a brilliant idea! And as always, if you have an idea, let us know and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
Thanks for your help and cooperation!
Below you will find maps of the Tarawa Terrace Plume, Hadnot Point Plume and Hadnot Point Well 651. If you click on the photos you will be directed to a larger version.
